Please join the Camp Ocean Pines California Nature summer camp staff June 6 2009 from 10am to 2pm in Cambria, California to find out more about California coastal sleepaway camps and day camps.  Camp Ocean Pines offers a small coastal setting, with 1 staff member per 4 kids.  Our camp is in the forest overlooking the ocean, in new straw bale cabins, each with an interior bathroom.  Eight campers share a cabin.  Enrollment is limited to 60 kids per summer camp session.  “Camp Ocean Pines is the kind of camp where you don’t necessarily miss your parents.”  “We want kids to enjoy nature on a deep integral level.” 

“We want kids to experience nature on a deep gut level because when they do that, that becomes part of who they are as an integrated well balanced person.

This nature camp is in a great setting overlooking the ocean.  We also have week long summer campouts at Yosemite, Big Sur, and Morro Bay.  Our week long summer sleepaway program runs from Sunday to Friday. Need a summer day camp on the central coast?  Camp Ocean Pines also provides summer day camps. You’ll enjoy the flexibiliey of summer day and overnight nature sleepaway camps with Camp Ocean Pines.  Many parents send their kids to camp for multiple weeks, and there is no charge for the weekends.  This camp gives a kids a chance to get connected to nature, which kids today aren’t.  If you’re looking for a small, nature based camp, then Camp Ocean Pines if for you.
