The 5-day courses for kids and teens can be taken individually or combined for multi-week certifications at prestigious college and university campuses including Stanford University (San Francisco), UCSD (San Diego), UCLA (Los Angeles), University of Chicago (Chicago), University of Texas at Austin (Austin), Drexel University and Swarthmore College (Philadelphia), Harvard University (Boston), George Washington University (Washington, D.C.), Brown University (Providence, RI), and University of British Columbia (Vancouver, Canada). College Degree Completion for Teens and Adults

Looking ahead to college? Charter Oak State College offers a college degree completion program for teens and adults.  You can take your college classes online

Anyone age 16 and older with 9 acceptable college units may apply to Charter Oak State College. This is regardless of level of formal education, and regardless of residence. Many teens begin their college classes in the summer after 8th grade. With their high school guidance counselor’s permission and advice, teens begin taking classes at their local community colleges. A young teen with high academic potential can safely take online classes from home, and be challenged in a safe environment. Teens take college classes from a variety of colleges, as they find the classes they need. Charter Oak offers the unique opportunity for teens to register with Charter Oak, take classes from a variety of colleges, and transfer the units to Charter Oak to work toward their college degree. This is also advantageous for the adult that has taken numerous classes at many colleges - the units will be evaluated for transfer and work toward a degree completion program.
